History

Since its foundation in 1989, Alstab Oberflächentechnik GmbH has been providing powder coating services for metal parts to customers across a range of industries.

Founded as a family business, we were initially based in Schladen, in the Eastern Harz region, until the construction of a new production facility in Osterwieck. In 2003, the new production facility was set up at the modern site in Osterwieck, which has been ALSTAB’s headquarters ever since.

We have been part of the Metall-Chemie Group, Hamburg, since 2014. Long-term customer relationships, a strong focus on quality, above-average delivery reliability and excellent customer service are the hallmarks that ALSTAB stands for today.

We coat aluminium, steel, galvanised steel and stainless steel flexibly, on time and cost-effectively. Our customers include metal and window fabricators, façade manufacturers, galvanising plants, manufacturers of play and leisure equipment, mechanical engineering firms, automotive and rail suppliers, the furniture industry and many more.

We are also able to apply coatings using the duplex process. This system is primarily used when applying metallic paints, for anti-graffiti coatings and to provide enhanced corrosion protection with a special primer.

We apply coatings using quality-assured coating powders in almost all RAL, RAL Design, NCS and DB colour shades, in various gloss levels and textures.
